We are reviewing the programme of assessment for doctors in postgraduate paediatric training, to ensure that the assessments taken in the workplace and our examinations are fair, fit for purpose and sustainable.
Thirty years of paediatrics with RCPCH. Millions of moments that mattered. We invite you to share your story: what do you enjoy most about your work and what keeps you going even in those challenging days?
We provide links to key information on professional responsibilities, training and the practical considerations you may be facing. Whatever your personal decision, our priority is to support you and ensure children and young people continue to receive safe, high-quality care.

Measles cases are rising again in parts of the UK. Our poster reminds us to be alert to measles symptoms in children and young people and to talk to families about vaccination.
We are the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, a registered charity and the membership body for paediatricians in the UK and around the world. Founded in 1996 and now with about 25,000 members in the UK and internationally, we play a major role in postgraduate medical education, professional standards, research and policy.
Our current strategy (2024-27) sets out to support paediatricians' working lives and advocate for a healthier future for children and young people, and has four goals: workforce, child health, evidence and international impact.
The College is governed by our dynamic Board of Trustees and Council. Our senior management team leads our divisions: Digital; Research & Quality Improvement; Education & Training; Membership, Policy & External Affairs; Corporate Services; CEO; and People & Culture.
As first the British Paediatric Association and, since 1996, a Royal College, we have a rich heritage of collaboration and innovation in child health. We have an extensive historical archive, and invite you to explore our online catalogue.
We want to be completely open about how we use and protect your data. Our privacy hub links to the privacy notices for all College activities as well as our explainers on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and your data rights.
