The RCPCH shares the concerns of its members about the damaging effects of climate change, and in particular air pollution, on child health.
We are part of the UK Health Alliance on Climate Change and are very vocal on the air pollution agenda which we deem a public health emergency. Most recently we have supported the Times "", by calling for Ministers to "" which has already attracted significant media coverage.
The topic is high on the agenda of the Health Improvement Committee next month and we’re exploring what further the College can do in this area, bearing in mind our paediatric focus.
