The conference was chaired by Dr Sophia Varadkar and included a young people-led symposium, keynote speaker and related Q&A session, Epilepsy12 updates and a quality improvement (QI) showcase session with associated QI poster displays. The conference also marked the launch of the RCPCH Epilepsy Quality Improvement Programme (EQIP).
Feedback shows that 94% of delegates left the conference with ideas for improvement within their service. 99% of delegates who provided feedback said that they would be happy to attend future Epilepsy12/OPEN UK national conferences.
