CSACs - volunteering opportunities

The College Specialty Advisory Committees (CSACs) supervise the development and delivery of sub-specialty training. We have vacancies in allergy, immunology and infectious disease, emergency medicine, hepatology, nephrology, oncology and respiratory medicine.

CSACs have particular responsibility for monitoring trainees' progress through their sub-specialty training, advising and signing off sub-specialty CCTs (certificates of completion of training) and the continued development of their curriculum and assessment systems. 

  • CSAC Allergy, Immunology and Infectious Diseases currently have two opportunities; a SPIN Lead of Immunology and Infectious Diseases, as well as an Academic Representative in a role-share position. 
  • There is a Training Advisor in Hepatology vacancy in the Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition CSAC
  • CSAC Nephrology has two spaces on the committee, one for a Training Advisor and the second for a SPIN Lead. 
  • CSAC Oncology is seeking an Academic Representative. 
  • There is a SPIN Lead opening on the Respiratory Medicine CSAC, as well as one for a Training Advisor
  • Paediatric Emergency Medicine Intercollegiate Specialist Advisory Committee (PEMISAC) is currently looking for a Training Advisor
